Chapter Chat #1 - Deltora Quest, Chapter One: The King
Today we held our first Chapter Chat session. A Chapter Chat session is where we read a chapter of a book together and discuss and complete activities related to the book. It's a fun little way for Room 12 to connect with each other and engage with Reading together. It's also a way for Room 12 to practise reading for enjoyment.
The first book we are tackling is called 'Deltora Quest: The Forest of Silence'. We read the first chapter 'The King' over a Google Meet, and Room 12 were then given a short task to work on, related to that particular chapter.
