WEEK 4 - TERM 1
Pepeha
Do you know your pepeha? Do you know how to say your pepeha? Do you even know what a pepeha is?
This week we spent some time with Mrs Vizor (who was in our class this week) working on our pepeha. We learnt about what a pepeha is, and how we can write our own pepeha.
In order for us to write our pepeha, we needed to know our mountain and our river. This meant some of us had to actually find out what and where those were. But some of our class needed to go and find out what our mum and dad's real names were (of course, who can remember their actual names when we only really know them as 'mum' and 'dad').
