Welcome to the Room 12 'Class of 2021!

Welcome to the Room 12 'Class of 2021!

We've enjoyed getting to know each other this week through different activities and team building games. We also welcome our student teacher Mr Fountain, who is with us for three weeks, as he gets to experience what it's like to be a teacher. Exciting!

Check out our super smiley faces below!

Getting 'Digi' with it...

Sharing our learning...

This week, some of us were tasked with digitally sharing our team's learning on google docs. We loved it!

Get a glimpse of us getting 'digi' with our learning!

Our reading journey...

Our reading journey...

Every day we push ourselves to be the best that we can be.

Check out Audrina and Omar sharing their reading with Miss Key. They are becoming experts at sounding out!

Watch Jash being our Big Book student teacher. He is such a funny student teacher!

We love having fun when we learn! Just remember...don't clap too early or Mr Jash will make you read the sentence again...oh no! :)

Can you count to ten?

Counting to ten...

We are so lucky to have a class full of children who represent some of the different countries from around the world. We love learning how to read, write and count...but we also love learning and sharing our knowledge about our different languages...

Vedant, Omar and Mustafa were great student teachers, who taught us how to count to ten in Hindi, Somalian and Arabic.

What languages can you count to ten in?

Big Book Theatre - 'Mrs. Wishy Washy's Tub'

Big Book Theatre'Mrs Wishy Washy's Tub'

Each Friday we have Big Book Theatre, where we get to act out our Big Book of the week. Last week our Big Book was 'Mrs Wishy Washy's Tub'. We had an audience, a narrator, a few props, some animals, and of course, Mrs Wishy Washy herself. We had a fun afternoon laughing and learning.

Don't you think Vedant makes an awesome Mrs Wishy Washy?

We are very lucky to have our very own Chinese language student teachers, Vicky and Ian. During Chinese Language Week, they taught us how to count to ten in Chinese.
